Stage-Craft Resume

Objective

To be utilized for all of my talents with a particular emphasis on finding challenging and satisfying experiences in theatrical projects that will lead to me being recognized as a powerful force in the field of stage craft.

Experience

Forest of Fear
- Workshop Lead (2007-2008)
For Forest of Fear, I conceptualized and designed, as well as constructed, repaired and maintained both structural and decorative elements of sets. Responsibilities also included painting, finishing and dressing various sets, and the construction and fabrication of props, dressings, and special effects when necessary. I also took an active part in sound and lighting design, character concept design and audience interactions, special effects make-up, costume design, and event security and instance repair and situation resolutions.

New York Renaissance Faire
- Site Crew Lead (2007-2008)
As a member of Site Crew, I worked with others as we constructed, repaired and maintained grounds and structures, both organic and manufactured, both decorative or structural, for temporary or permanent utilization. I also painted, finished, and dressed sets; including the fabrication of props and dressings when necessary.

Acres of Ghouls (1989-1992)
- Painter (1989), Set Dresser (1990-1991), Art Director (1992)
As a painter, I decorated specific rooms following established concepts, and I also painted various “one off” murals.
As a set dresser I dressed and decorated rooms in accordance to their themes or concepts. At times I had to create or secure props and furnishings.
As an Art Director, I had to organize labour and secure supplies for the decoration and dressing of sets based off of style and thematic design concepts, with a focus on safety, actor and audience movment and interactions, and to establish proper mood and environment.
